10/7: The event is cancelled due to a lack of participants. Whilst we didn't expect many to begin with, we expected more than the number of people that signed up. (I never thought we'd get enough people anyway! Jeremy, noooooooooo!)
We will be hosting a Best of Class tournament during the week of October the 7th. This will consist of
two rounds to find out who is the best of their class, and then who is the best in the server. The
schedule will be posted on October 1st, letting everyone know who they will be fighting to start the
Best of Class tournament, and then what days we are hoping to have everyone fight. If anyone is
unable to participate during the time specified, they have time to contact a staff member THROUGH
THE FORUMS and have the issue resolved.
In order to participate in any of the rounds you will be required to be using full Ruthless (or equivalent
item level) gear.
Round 1
Round 1 will have players of the same class fighting each other in a single elimination style tournament
where only the very best of each class will remain standing at the end. The final round will be a best of
three, to remove any "lucky crits" from the equation.
---
Rewards for round 1 "best of class" winners =
---
1ST PLACE:
Realm first level 80 class title
Flametalon of Alysrazor
Cataclysmic weapon(s)
World chat tag
2ND PLACE:
Duelist Title
---
Round 2
Round 2 will have the victors of round 1 fighting each other in a round robin style tournament where the
person with the most victories at the end will be named the champion.
---
Rewards for round 2 "best player" winners =
---
1ST PLACE:
Gladiator title
Relevant Season 1 PvP set
Pureblood Fire Hawk
Guild house
World chat tag
2ND PLACE:
Challenger Title
---

Note: We need everyone who wants to participate to find all of your class's bugs. This will help us make
the tournament as fair as possible, and will also help the rest of the server; along with future events we
have planned.
Fun facts: this means we'll be hosting eleven 1v1 events and the eleventh one will consist of 45 duels.
We're still planning the tournament so of course, everything is subject to change - especially the rewards.
